This terraced Victorian three storey house
was refurbished throughout for a young family. The interior is
very individual, reflecting the eclectic taste of the owners and
varying with the use of the rooms.
A new glazed garden room for informal dining, lounging and entertaining was the
key architectural intervention. Sliding folding doors blur the boundary between
interior and garden, allowing the spaces to flow into each other so that one
becomes the extension of the other.
The garden was designed to be lushly romantic, with the emphasis on green planting
and white flowers creating a soft organic counterpoint to the crisp and contemporary
extension. |
